Assessments

We use thoughtfully selected leadership assessments to help individuals and teams gain deeper self-awareness, strengthen communication, and support long-term growth. Unlike many workplace assessments that place people into rigid categories, the tools we use are developmental, strengths-based, and designed to reflect the complexity of human behavior across different contexts and stages of growth.

Lumina Spark

A dynamic personality assessment that explores how people naturally think, communicate, collaborate, and lead under different conditions—including stress. Unlike many traditional personality tools, Lumina Spark recognizes that people are nuanced and capable of adapting across situations, making it especially valuable for leadership development, team dynamics, and communication work.

Vertical Mindset Indicator (VMI)

A developmental assessment based on vertical leadership development that is more focused on building a leader’s capacity—how they make meaning, navigate complexity, and lead through ambiguity and change. The VMI is especially relevant for organizations operating in fast-changing environments where leaders are expected to balance multiple perspectives, systems, and stakeholder demands.

VIA Character Strengths

A positive psychology assessment that identifies an individual’s core character strengths and natural sources of energy, motivation, and contribution. Rather than focusing primarily on deficits and gaps, VIA helps leaders and teams build confidence, resilience, authenticity, and meaningful engagement through a shared language of strengths.

  • "We were in search of a subject matter expert to help us launch a viable employee engagement program on skills enhancement and motivation for a conglomerate. Joyce weaved her magic and rolled out the program which the company has adapted to. The positive results were beyong what we expected."

    —VP, Client Company

  • "The whole process has helped me get to know myself and the Exec team better and understand how to play on each of our strengths to contribute to the organization's goals."

    –Executive Team Member

  • "It became clearer to me how I wish to support each of the Directors and the fact that the kind of support I can give will vary from person to person depending on what they need."

How a Growing Leadership Team Navigated Scaling, Delegation, and Remote Collaboration

As our client rapidly expanded and transitioned into more distributed ways of working, its senior leadership team began experiencing growing pressure around alignment, delegation, and decision-making. Through an integrated development initiative that combined leadership assessments, one-to-one coaching, and team coaching sessions, leaders gained deeper awareness of how operational habits, communication patterns, and leadership assumptions were affecting both team wellbeing and organizational performance.

This initiative led to important shifts in employee development priorities, including stronger delegation practices, expanded growth opportunities for emerging leaders, and greater alignment among the organization’s co-founders and senior leadership team.
